Dr. Jenny Sprague
Veterinarian
Motto “No Worries”
Dr. Sprague believes that there is nothing more important than nurturing the human-animal bond and promoting it’s positive effects for both people and pets on their health, mood, and well-being. Even as a young girl she was fascinated by animals and the joy that filled her when she was around them, often sneaking into the neighbors garage to play with the litter of kittens, or running around the couches in the living room with her first dog Josie, a doberman-basset hound mix. She never lost that love for animals and in 2008 graduated Magna Cum Laude with her DVM from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. In 2011, after a couple years as a mixed animal veterinarian in southern Colorado, she moved back to Texas to be closer to family and started work as an associate veterinarian at Pipe Creek Animal Clinic. Getting to know the clients and pets we are privileged to have trust us with their care motivated her to purchase the Clinic from it’s founder Dr. Sheridan Sloan in Janurary 2019. When she is not dedicating her time to the clinic and it’s clients, she competes with her dogs in dock jumping all over the country. Her recharge time is spent at the lake or river with her personal dogs, kayaking, wakeboarding or just chillin’. As a dedicated rescuer, she always has a spare dog or two at home fostering for local rescues and shelters and has donated her services to communities in need whenever possible.
