Our Veterinarians

Meet the folks who make it all happen. We see big potential in every moment, & care deeply about what we do every day.

Dr. Sprague and Ronix

Dr. Jenny Sprague-Duin

Veterinarian – Motto “No Worries”

Dr. Sprague-Duin believes that there is nothing more important than nurturing the human-animal bond and promoting it’s positive effects for both people and pets on their health, mood, and well-being. Even as a young girl she was fascinated by animals and the joy that filled her when she was around them, often sneaking into the neighbors garage to play with the litter of kittens, or running around the couches in the living room with her first dog Josie, a Doberman-Basset hound mix.

She never lost that love for animals and in 2008 graduated Magna Cum Laude with her DVM from Texas A&M; University College of Veterinary Medicine. In 2011, after a couple years as a mixed animal veterinarian in southern Colorado, she moved back to Texas to be closer to family and started work as an associate veterinarian at Pipe Creek Animal Clinic. Getting to know the clients and pets we are privileged to have trust us with their care motivated her to purchase the Clinic from its founder Dr. Sheridan Sloan in January 2019.

When Dr. Sprague-Duin is not dedicating her time to the clinic and it’s clients, she competes with her dogs in dock jumping all over the country. Her recharge time is spent at the lake or river with her personal dogs, kayaking, wakeboarding or just chillin’. As a dedicated rescuer, she always has a spare dog or two at home fostering for local rescues and shelters and has donated her services to communities in need whenever possible.

Dr. Kindall Jones

Dr. Kindall Jones

Dr. Jones can be found patiently caring for the furry visitors of Pipe Creek Animal Clinic on most Wednesdays. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas (Go Razorbacks!) and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University. She spent most of her career caring for our military communities’ animals as an Army veterinarian before settling in the San Antonio area in 2001.

She completed her certificate in acupuncture from the Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians course in 2014. An enthusiastic lifelong learner, she feels fortunate to have a career in a progressive field that allows her to offer a variety of treatments to serious medical conditions. When she is not working as a relief veterinarian, she can be found enjoying the outdoors with her husband, 4 dogs, 2 cats and 2 horses. She is an avid hiker of short trails, a fledgling birder and budding gardener of native plants for butterflies.

“Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.”
