Keeping a Senior Dog Comfortable

Did you know that some dogs become seniors as early as age six? Our canine pals don’t always age at the same pace: big dogs age sooner than small ones. Dogs may not love baths, but they do enjoy feeling fresh and clean. Keep up with your pet’s beauty care, so his coat doesn’t get itchy, matted, or tangled. Parasite control is also important.

Older pooches often have trouble climbing on and off things. Pet ramps or stairs can help your dog get around more easily.

Love

Love is the secret ingredient in any pet care routine. Spend lots of time with your dog, and keep that tail wagging. Don’t skimp on those belly rubs, either!
