Things Your Cat Wants To Know Right Meow

January 15, 2020

Answer your Cat’s Questions Day is coming up January 22nd! Our feline friends are known for being curious. (They’re also known for being adorable, opinionated, and quirky, but that’s beside the point.) If your pet could voice her most pressing questions, what do you think that she would really want to know about? A Helotes, TX vet lists some ‘pawsibilities’ in this article.

What’s In That?

Cats are very curious, and love to stick their little noses into everything and everything. If you bring home a new box or suitcase, your pet will be quite interested in investigating it. Kitties also enjoy exploring newspaper tunnels and paper grocery bags.

Why Can’t I Sleep There?

We probably don’t have to tell you that our feline buddies are very, very sleepy. Cats are always looking for new napping spots to enjoy for their 42 daily naps. Sooner or later, your pet will fall asleep on something that really isn’t supposed to be a cat bed, such as on your computer or in your laundry. Then again, everything is a cat bed as far as kitties are concerned.

Did You Pet Another Animal?

While cat’s noses may not be quite as sensitive as dogs’ are, they still have a pretty keen sense of smell. If you come home with the scent of a dog or another cat on you, your feline pal will definitely notice!

What Are You Doing?

Kitties like to keep a very close eye on their humans. Your pet may follow you around the house, in part so she can hang out with you, but also so she can see what you are doing. She may also try to ‘help’ with things like changing sheets or wrapping gifts.

What Is That Little Red Dot?

Kitties are always adorable when they are hard at play, but they are never cuter than when they are trying to catch that mysterious red spot from a laser pointer. Your pet may never catch her prey, but she’ll have fun trying!

Why Can’t I Go Out?

We suspect that, given the chance, cats would want to know a lot about the Great Outdoors. However your feline friend will be much safer staying inside!
